This is AMAZING!
Gas2.0 is here! Or right around the corner anyways. A company called Joule Unlimited has created an organism (it’s a good GMO) that can be directed to release usable diesel fuel and/or ethanol. Now it might be far away but this could one day put an end to the need to import oil from overseas to power our cars, and make it much cheaper too!
What fuels this organism? Fresh air and sunshine. That’s about it. The other ingredients are CO2 and water (which leads me to believe that maybe, just maybe it can help take CO2 out of the atmosphere, killing two birds with one stone?).
Something makes me think California will want to be on the front lines of this thing…
